16 Month Update

Brody turned 16 months old on Tuesday!  He continues to show us new talents each week.  He has really started to show his personality and seems to have a slight temper and some stubbornness.  He had no chance  with that really.  We are enjoying every moment because time sure is flying by!  Brody finally did his first "sign" a few weeks ago.  He signed "more" when eating.  We are moving on to "drink" and "eat" now.   Brody enjoys spinning in circles until he becomes dizzy, reading books by himself, watching Yo Gabba Gabba, driving his tractor, and building with legos.  The countdown to summer vacation has officially begun.

A beautiful day at the park.

I am crazy!

16 months old today!

Brody finally is long enough to push the gas pedal on his tractor now.  He had a blast in the yard last week.

Happy Easter!

We traveled to Lovilia/Albia for Easter.  Brody had a good time with his family.  Hopefully today he can catch up on the sleep he didn't get over the weekend.  He is not too fond of his pack and play.  Enjoy the latest pictures!

Playing with a swimming pool penguin toy.

Cautiously observing his Easter baskets.

He loves his Yo Gabba Gabba ship for the bathtub.

His very first coloring book complete with real crayons.

Checking out his new float for the pool.

Brody loves to talk on the phone!

Brody got to ride on a real tractor.  He loved it!

Busy Boy

Brody is finally feeling better after a week long sickness.  He had a fever, ear infection, and was getting two molars all at the same time.  I think we are finally caught up on our sleep.  Brody is definitely feeling better.  He is back to tearing around the house and getting into everything.  His latest interest is picking up a cell phone and talking into it, usually saying "hi dad".

Still loving my tractor!

Caesar is quite the trooper.  Brody loves to cuddle with him.  I think Caesar loves it just as much as Brody!

I love my kitty!

Caesar is so comfy!

Wild Hair Boy!

Clearly in need of another haircut already!

This is a fun game for Brody.  He loves to pull the DVD's off of the shelf.  I am just glad that I talked Travis into taking both of the shelves out of the living room!  Brody was very proud of this mess.

Brody knows where the keys go!

He concentrated so hard to do this!

Another day, another try.
