15 Month Update

Brody turned 15 months old on Saturday.  It has been so long since I have posted.  Now that conferences are over, I can finally update you on our little man.  Brody is on the go non-stop now.  He gives kisses, high fives, waves bye, loves to read books, plays peek a boo with blankets, curtains, you name it, attempts to stand on his head (then looks upside down at you from between his legs), spins in circles, drops things and says "uh oh", cuddles with Caesar, and dances to name a few.  Brody also will go get something that you ask for, like a book or toy.  He also loves to help with laundry by bringing you hangers.  He is still into computers and remotes.  He carries around his little laptop just like Travis and Josh.  It is pretty cute.  The picture above is Brody hard at work in the computer chair.

Brody's vocabulary is also becoming more developed by the week.  Some words he says include:  mama, dada, kitty, cheese, drink, hi, dirty, nana, uh-oh, hot dog, okay, and Brianna (which is our babysitter's daughter).  I'm sure I'm forgetting some.  I had Friday off and Travis took the day off, so we spent it at the zoo.  Brody was a lot more attentive to the exhibits this time around.  He loved the aquarium and the jungle.  When we went to the cat complex to see the tigers, Brody said "kitty" when he saw them.  It was adorable!

We have his 15 month well baby check up tomorrow morning, so I will update about that later.  Enjoy the pictures!

In a good mood for once while I get dressed for the day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  It was not a fun day for Mom as I had conferences on the 17th and 18th.  Travis, Josh, and Brody spent some quality time together celebrating while I was stuck at work until 8:00.

Caught in the act!

Look at what I did mom and dad!

Hanging around.

We took Brody out in the backyard on Saturday.  We are trying to get him more used to walking on grass.  He practically runs inside, but for some reason, the uneven ground scares him.  Finally after a few attempts, we were able to get him to walk around in the yard.

I am 15 months old today!

Wheee!

Again daddy!

After Brody finally got comfortable walking, we got out his tractor.  He had fun pushing and riding it around the yard.
