Happy Easter
Winter Days
Merry Christmas!
We celebrated Christmas in Lovilia. Christmas Eve, Brody had a chance to meet Santa. I'm not a really big fan of waiting in line for Santa at a mall, so this was Brody's first meeting. We missed a huge snow storm while we were in Lovilia. Glenwood got 14 inches of snow while Lovilia got 2. Needless to say, we were blocked out of our driveway by the drifts. It was sure a welcome home.
Brody's third Christmas! Unbelievable!!
Brody sprinkling his Magic Reindeer Food on the ground so Santa's reindeer could find Nana and Papa's house.
Pouring his Magic Reindeer Food.
Brody didn't know what to think of Santa at first. He warmed up a little later.
Happy 2nd Birthday Brody!!
We celebrated Brody's birthday in Lovilia this year. We had a good crowd. Brody wore his Hawkeye Orange Bowl t-shirt. Brody had a Thomas the Train birthday theme. He got lots of fun gifts, including a Buzz and Woody, a farm set, a big wheel, a remote control car, and many many other things. He is one spoiled little boy!
The family posing with Brody's cake table.
Gotta love Thomas.
Brody's mini cake, although he did not even touch it. He's not a cake person.

November 2009
Wow! It has been way too long since I updated the blog! Our internet has been very slow the last two months and I haven't had the time required to update. I made up for it today with about 50 new pictures of Brody! He continues to amaze us with everything that he is learning. He counts to 3, loves to point out the stars and moon, and is still in love with trains and Toy Story. He sleeps with his Buzz and Woody every night. He is getting good at catching a ball we throw to him. His most favorite game is to push his toy train around the house at a high rate of speed. Brody's vocabulary is developing rapidly, his favorite word is "don't" though =). It's hard to believe that our baby is going to be 2 years old in less than a month. We are just amazed at how much he remembers and understands. Enjoy the latest pictures! Seriously, there are 50 new ones, so happy scrolling!
Trying to get the pickle out of the pickle roll.
Playing around on Nana and Grandpa's computer.
Brody was so excited for Thanksgiving that he woke up at 5:20 a.m. We were without electricity until 7:15, so it made for a very boring morning for Brody.
Posing in front of the Christmas tree.
He loves my Winnie the Pooh train ornament that talks.
Putting an ornament on the tree.
Once again, the ornery look returns!
Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!
Dancing at the wedding reception. I was so disappointed that I had the stomach flu and missed everything except for the ceremony. Brody was quite the little dancer I heard. He danced the whole night!
